AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMS @TAPA & COMMUNITY
A MESSAGE REGARDING AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMMING AT TAPA:

Please be aware for any of the after school clubs and tutoring that take place on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, as well as any arts rehearsals;

Students are expected to report directly to the tutoring room, club or rehearsal immediately after dismissal. Students may not leave the building and return. Students may not hang out in the front of the school or some other location and then report to their rooms late. Students will not be permitted to enter tutoring or the club after it has started. This is for the safety of the students and must be followed.

New Urban Arts is open Monday - Friday 2-6pm and we are located on 705 Westminster street right next to White Electric Coffee Shop [walkable from TAPA!]. When schools are closed we are closed. We offer Screenprinting, Block Printing, Painting & Drawing, Music, Writing/Poetry, 3D sculptures, and a lot more in between! We are a drop-in space meaning as long as we are open students can come and go as they please and even if they haven't enrolled they are welcomed to come to NUA during open hours and get a tour and stay if they want! If you have specific questions, you can email Jobanny Cabrera  at jobanny@newurbanarts.org

TAPA is an anti-oppression creative community that is enriched by the cultural, religious, racial, ethnic, and linguistic diversity of our neurodiverse families, students, and employees. As such, we stand together in protest of the systematic violence and dehumanization of People of Color and the Black community.
