SERVICES FOR TAPA FAMILIES - SERVICIOS PARA FAMILIAS DE TAPA
ON SITE PANTRY
Non-perishable food items and canned goods available for TAPA families. Packaged items can be picked up by families or sent home with students. Families wanting to take advantage of this program should contact Ms. Vidal at 644-7657, [email protected]. COMPUTER & INTERNET ACCESS Computers and access to internet available for parent use Monday-Friday. Parents can access the internet to job hunt, email, research, study, accessing online courses, communicating with teachers, etc. Printing of important documents also available. Contact Ms. Vidal to schedule technology access, 644-7657, [email protected]. SERVICES & SUPPORTS FOR FAMILIES EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS Information, access to community resources, on site pantry, shower washer and dryer available for displaced students and families staying in shelters or doubling up with family members or friends due to loss of housing. Productos alimenticios no perecederos y productos enlatados disponibles para las familias de TAPA. Los artículos empacados pueden ser recogidos por las familias o enviados a casa con los estudiantes. Las familias que quieran aprovechar este programa deben comunicarse con Ms. Vidal al 644-7657, [email protected] COMPUTADORA Y ACCESO A INTERNET Computadoras y acceso al Internet disponibles para uso de padres de Lunes-Viernes. Los padres pueden acceder al Internet para buscar empleo, correo electrónico, búsqueda de información, estudiar, acceso a cursos en línea, comunicación con maestros, etc. Impresión de documentos importantes también disponible. Comuniquese con Ms. Vidal para tener acceso a esta tecnología, 644-7657, [email protected] SERVICIOS Y APOYO PARA FAMILIAS QUE EXPERIMENTAN PERDIDA DE HOGAR Información, acceso a recursos comunitarios, almacén de alimentos, uso de ducha, lavadora y secadora en TAPA disponibles para familias desplazadas que permanecen en refugios o residen con familiares o amistades debido a perdida de hogar. TRANSPORTATION
5 - 8 Graders: Yellow school bus transportation will be provided for lower school students through Ocean State Transit. Families will be informed of bus times and stop assignments prior to the first day of school.
9-12 Graders: High School students meeting distance requirements (living 2 miles or more away from the school) will receive a RIPTA card loaded with a monthly pass starting the first full month of the school year (September).

REMINDERS
If your address has changed, please notify the main office immediately to update your child’s school records. It is important we have the most up to date contact information for each student. You will be asked to complete a Change of Address Form and provide proof of new address.
If any other contact information has changed for your child (people allowed to pick up your child, cell or house number, email, etc.), please contact the main office to update your child’s school records. You will be asked to complete a new Emergency Contact Form.
